A question ONLY for non- nintendo fanboys about wii motion plus?

PnguinoRodriguez asked:

Ok: first of all, i apologize to Nintendo fanboys for calling them Nintendo fan boys (sorry again, nintendo fanboys. sorry) but lets face it, some people think the Wii is the best thing thats ever happened and would saw off an arm for it.

However, i wouldn’t. Never. Thats because i hate it. Go ahead and call me a 360 fanboy, nintendo fanboys.

Anyway, i have a 360, which i play a lot, and my brother has a wii which he asked for in christmas. I barely play it, not that ive bothered in buying new games anyway, because i think it sucks

I hate the responsiveness of the wiimote, you dont really feel like you are swinging a golf club or a sword. You are not.

So when i heard of the Wii motion plus attatchement, i got excited, but i wanna know, is it worth it? Does it make a difference?

Anyone who has bought Wii Sports 2, please answer. Thank you

(Note to all those nitpickers who are gonna flame me for calling WSR “wii sports 2″ or misspelling wiimote: don’t. You are only asking for a low rating. Thanks)

You’re going to call me a fanboy because I only answer Wii questions but I’m not. I have a 360 and a PSP that I love. I’m a fan of games, Nintendo is my favorite but I love the other consoles as well. That said, Wii MotionPlus makes the Wii control like I thought it would out of the box. It’s a true 1 to 1.

I got Tiger Woods 10 with M+ over a month ago and I love it. I tried it without M+ and I hated it. Without Wii MotionPlus if you pull your back swing back 6 inches in real life your in game player will pull his back swing back 3-4 feet. With M+ if you pull your back swing back 6 inches your in game player will pull his back 6 inches. The level of control is unbelievable and well worth the money.

Playing a game without is like flying a paper airplane and playing a game with M+ is like flying a real airplane. That is the difference in control. I would NEVER play a game that could use M+ without it even if I could and once you try it you’ll never want to either.

Trust me – it works. It’s not exactly 1 to 1 control, but it makes a HUGE difference. Swinging a ping-pong paddle is a shockingly realistic & tactile experience. Throwing a Frisbee works on real-life skill. If you’re good at it in life, it genuinely transfers over. Don’t pass this up – it’s a big jump towards the future.

It works, and is fully worth it. You will notice it very well in games like the plane one and ping pong. I got Grand Slam Tennis and it doesnt feel very “plus”, but Wii Sports Resort makes the Wii Motion Plus shine. I cant wait until more games are released for it.
